Once again, the students from the Bachelor of International Events Management (BIEM) programme emerged as one of the winners in the Business Events National Challenge 2022. The winning team will be representing Malaysia for the Asian Federation of Exhibition and Convention Associations (AFECA) Asia Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) Youth Challenge in November 2022 virtually. Two teams of Taylor's students, Team Supernova and Team Strikers from the Events Management programme participated in this national level challenge organized by the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS).
Team Supernova was selected as one of the winners after presenting their proposed novel business event idea to a panel of judges from MACEOS. Team Supernova consists of 2nd year students namely Ahn Hyeri, Deborah Heidi Hamlet, Gloria Wynne Khorigin and Liaw Chuan Hwee. Congratulations to Team Supernova for winning the national challenge and wishing the team all the best for the upcoming international level challenge in November 2022. Well done also to Team Strikers for putting efforts in the national challenge!
