Taylor's School of Hospitality, Tourism & Events signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Franchise Partnership with Fishtail Mountain School of Hospitality, Tourism and Management (FMSHTM), located in Pokhara, Nepal, to offer its Top 20 world ranked, QS by subject degree programme Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (Hons) (BIHM). The approved programme at Fishtail will be offered in a franchise model. Students at Fishtail will also have an option to complete their degree at Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
The first batch under this exciting franchise programme commenced on 15th February 2022. During the orientation week, the students of Fishtail were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Neethiahnanthan Ari Ragavan, Executive Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management, Taylor’s University, and Dr. Joaquim Dias Soeiro, Head of School, School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Taylor’s University. The Fishtail CEO and Academic Director, Mr. Alvin Lama also extended his warm welcome to the new cohort of students. The students were briefed about the course and curriculum by Dr. Ruth Sabina Francis, Programme Director Taylor’s Bachelor of International Hospitality Management and Dr. Anshul Garg, FMSHTM Programme Coordinator.
The students attended all the virtual orientation sessions and are enthusiastically looking forward to fun filled learning journey in the hospitality world.
