Taylor’s Clinical Psychology Graduates Achieve Professional Milestone with MAHPC Registration

Taylor’s University is proud to announce the successful registration of three cohorts of graduates from the Master of Clinical Psychology programme with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) as Registered Clinical Psychologists. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and excellence of our students, faculty, and administrative team in facilitating a seamless transition from academic preparation to professional practice.

The graduates, spanning three consecutive batches from the Master of Clinical Psychology programme, have successfully navigated the MAHPC application and registration process. This registration marks a crucial milestone in their professional journeys, enabling them to officially embark on or continue their careers in mental health practice. For many, this registration serves as the final gateway before fully immersing themselves in clinical work, where they will contribute their skills and expertise to meet the growing demand for mental health services in Malaysia.

What makes this accomplishment particularly noteworthy is the smooth registration process, underscoring the strong collaboration between Taylor’s University and the relevant regulatory bodies. The programme's comprehensive curriculum and practical clinical training ensured that our graduates met all the stringent requirements set by both the MAHPC and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). This success further solidifies the programme’s reputation for producing highly skilled and well-prepared mental health professionals.

Many of these newly Registered Clinical Psychologists have already commenced their careers in private clinics, universities, and community mental health centers across the country, actively contributing to addressing Malaysia’s mental health needs. Taylor's University remains committed to excellence in clinical psychology training, and we eagerly anticipate the continued impactful contributions of our graduates to mental health care in Malaysia.
