School of Media and Communication (SOMAC) Postgraduate Series invited Dr Julia Wirza Zawawi, Senior Lecturer, Universiti Putra Malaysia to share on “Survival Journey: News Framing Studies within Contemporary Experimental Design” via an online webinar.
30 postgraduate students and academicians attended the session, both from Taylor's University and Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr Julia Wirza Zawawi shared very insightful thoughts on social sciences experiments.
She addressed the issue of ethics, theoretical framework, conceptual framework, and feasibility of social sciences experiments. The Q&A session was very lively with many questions from the postgraduate students as they seek to apply the experimental design as well as news framing theory in their own research.
