Final year Public Relations Event and Consultancy module students of School of Media and Communication (SOMAC) had the opportunity of collaborating with two Ministries this semester. The first team of 11 students worked with Department of Agriculture (DOA), Malaysia, while another team of 11 students collaborated with Institut Keushawanan Negara (INSKEN) under Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives.
The DOA team presentation was taken place on 20 November 2021 at the Department of Agriculture, Putrajaya. The Team Leader Hong Xin Han and Yuan Sen were accompanied by the Project Advisor, Ms. G. Manickam Govindaraju, Lecturer of School of Media and Communication, represented the group to present their final report to the client. The presentation took place at the Director of Crop Quality Control Division, Tuan Azreen and Principal Assistant Director of Crop Quality Control Division of DOA, Ms. Juliana Ritonga Binti Saipul Jannah in full SOP compliance.
The presentation was well received by the officials and the department was happy with the outcome of the project in terms of reach and engagement in social media platform. In expressing the department’s gratitude, every student of the team, Project Advisor and School of Media and Communication were awarded a certificate of appreciation from DOA.
The INSKEN team presentation took place on 25 November 2021 via Zoom.
