On 12th March 2020, School of Media and Communication (SOMAC) Postgraduate Session Series 1/2020 invited Dr. Tham Jen Sern, a Health Communication Expert from Universiti Putra Malaysia to share on "Health Communication: The Pertinence of Interdisciplinary Research". 13 postgraduate students and 7 academicians attended the session. The event was successful where Dr. Tham shared on history, theories and empirical studies that anchor health communication researches. The Q&A session was very lively with many questions from the audience as they seek to apply the knowledge within their own research.
