“Follow your Passion; have a Purpose in Life; Be Patient; Develop a Positive Mindset”, are the four key factors to success that has led Jon Teoh to his position today as the Cluster Director of Learning & Development at Shangri La and Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Jon Teoh, also a Taylor’s alumni of Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Hospitality & Tourism (Hons), graduated in 2009, who has an illustrious career in hospitality and tourism spanning 13 years.
He shared his international working experience with Taylor's Culinary Institute Diploma in Hotel Management students. Jon talked about the challenges he had faced and cited the commitment he put in towards the relentless pursuit of his goals as well as the willingness to learn as much as possible as the drivers to his success today.
