Online Teaching: Facilitating Discussion



"Time To Care and Share Our Best Practices With the Peers to Grow And Sustain”


The Centre for Future Learning of Taylor's University organized a session on "Online Teaching: Facilitating Discussion" as an opportunity to share the best practices in online teaching to the Taylor's educators.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kandappan Balasubramanian, Associate Professor from School of Hospitality, Tourism & Events; and, Mr. Serit Banyan, Lecturer from School of Liberal Arts & Sciences were invited to this online session to share their views and practices in online teaching. Dr. Kandappan also shared with the participants on "Designing and Managing Online Discussion" during this pandemic juncture.


More than 100 participants attended this session that was moderated by Prof. Mike Keppell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Learning and Teaching of Taylor's University. The participants found this session very informative and eye-opening, mainly the integration of Alumni Industry (A.I.) concept into online teaching to manage their workload and to enhance the learning environment with diversified knowledge.
